Craig is a Bibb County native and has spent his entire professional career in the county. After beginning his legal career in 2004, he and Spencer Hodnett opened their practice together in 2005.

Craig has a diverse practice that focuses on bankruptcy, divorce and family law, and civil litigation. He also handles a wide range of cases from criminal matters to estates and adoptions. He serves as the municipal prosecutor for the City of Centreville. Craig was named to B-Metro's Top Attorneys list in 2016 and 2017. Craig is involved with the leadership of the Solo and Small Firm Section of the Alabama State Bar. He has been featured as a speaker at the Alabama Young Lawyers' Conference in 2015 and 2016, the 2016 Alabama State Bar Annual Meeting and various local bar associations. He is the current president of the Bibb County Bar Association. Craig is a 2014 graduate of the Alabama State Bar Leadership Forum, a program recognized by the American Bar Association for its "innovative, thoughtful and exceptional content, for its powerful and continuing impact on emerging leaders in the bar community and for the extraordinary example it has established that others may emulate."

Craig lives in Centreville with his wife, Mallory, and their three children, George, Vann and Amelia. He serves as the Minister of Music for Centreville Baptist Church. Craig is a board member for South Bibb Dixie Youth and the Bibb County Pregnancy Resource Center.
